The Expendables vs. The A-Team vs. The Losers Who is the better team.
This year we have had three movies that featured teams of Men. The Expendables, The Losers, and The A-Team contain men that come together either by military allegiance or a job that issues money these guys get it done.
They will be judged on several accounts:
Best Roster- Who’s got the better team on paper
Best Storyline/Plot- Is it trash or a masterpiece
Best Acting- Who is the more convincing crew
Best Action Scenes- Which movie had the wilder action scenes
Best Woman Co-Star- Which lady were the coolest/sexy/helpfulto boys
Best Villain- Who is more evil?
Coolest Name- Which team got the coolest name
Before I go into that let me shed light on each of these films
The Losers:
Starring: Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Columbus Short, IdrisElba, Jeffery Dean Morgan, and Oscar Jaenada
A military force who was thought to be dead after completing a mission. With the help of a woman named Aisha Clay, Rogue, Pooch, Cougar, andJensen return to take down the guy that wanted them dead.
The A-Team:
Starring: Jessica Biel, Liam Neeson, Quinton ‘Rampage’Jackson, Bradley Cooper, and Sharlto Copley
A team of veteran Army Rangers come together to form one ofthe best military teams on earth. After being set up by a rival team the A-Teamis on the run and must prove their innocence.
The Expendables:
Starring: (I don’t think I need to put first names on thisone do I) Stallone, Li, Statham, Rourke, Couture, Crews, Willis, Lundgren,Schwarzenegger, Austin, Roberts, and Giselle Itie
A mercenary gang paid to do various jobs for money. They geta job that seems a little odd from an employer who seems strange as well. Turnsout there, is more on the line than just money.
Let’s start it off shall we!
Best Roster: THE EXPENDABLES Goes to the expendables handsdown. The reason being is that you either seen or heard of these guys somewherebefore (unless you lived under a rock but even then you heard about one ofthese guys). Hall of famers in fighting, academy award winners or nominations dominatethis list.
Runner-Up: The A-Team.
Best Storyline/Plot: THE A-TEAM. This was one of the toughercategories seeing how all three plots had holes or ridiculousness attached toit but the A-Team held it together better. It maybe generic but the way it’spresented brings out the good parts.
Runner-Up: The Losers
Best Acting: THE LOSERS. They really bring out the movie even if it is a another generic plot we’veseen before. Even the villain is well acted, and because of that most viewers looked over the films shortcomings.
Runner-Up: The A-Team
Best Action Scenes: THE A-TEAM. The over-the-top works hereseeing as how the film doesn’t take itself too serious. The actors also do abang up job of delivering these scenes.
Runner-Up: The Expendables
Best Woman Co- Stars: THE A-TEAM. Jessica Biel has biggerand better supporting role. Giving the team a mission and helping them get outof the hands of the law.
Runner-Up: Zoe Saldana as Aisha
Best Villain: THE LOSERS. Jason Patric does a good job atplaying the charismatic Max. From blowing a helicopter full of children toalmost eliminating a city Max is definitely twisted.
Runner-Up: Patrick Wilson as Agent Lynch
Coolest Name: THE EXPENDABLES. Believe it or not it sounds imitating. I would hire them over the Losers or the A-team any day based on name.
And the winner is….
THE A-TEAM- With over-the-top action scenes, some decentacting, and a slightly more in depth plot the A-Team prevails again.
Runner-Up: The Losers- Good acting isn’t enough to save thisrun of the mill action film.
The Loser: The Expendables with great action scenes and asuperstar cast to make any action fan jizz in their pants, ultimately can’tdeliver with the talent.
Update: It seems that I forgotten the Takers but I didn't see that movie and it look kinda of bad to me (but we will see).
